Now an Office of Fair Trading Approved Code of Practice
We Subscribe to the Motor Industry Code of Practice which was developed to provide a
'standardised' service within the vehicle repair industry. As more garages sign up to
the code and its requirements, the motoring public will begin to feel assured about using
repairers that have committed to it. Click on the logo to learn more about the code and its
effects on your rights and expectations, with further links to the 'Motor Codes' site.
Repair Centre
We are proud to have recently been appointed by the RAC motoring organisation as an approved
Repair Centre. We have always aspired to provide a professional and efficient service to the
motoring public and this appointment will help to confirm this. The RAC motoring organisation
is probably the most recognised in the sector and we hope to offer access to more of its
services in time.
We have been members of the Retail Motor Industry Federation, formerly the Motor Agents
Association, since 1988. The RMIF demands high standards from its members and helps to provide
advice on the legislative demands that are constantly being increased, while actively lobbying
government and the authorities in matters relating to the motor trade. The RMIF will offer
advice to any member of the public regarding any issue arising from contact with its members

Alliance AutoCentres is a nationwide network of a select number of independent vehicle
repairers brought together by the UK Parts Alliance, which is a cooperation between groups of
Motor Factors - companies that supply parts and equipment to garages. UK Parts Alliance members
have invested considerably in providing high and original equipment quality parts, together
with the necessary technical backup and information essential to the repair of today's
complex vehicle systems. Because of the nationwide sphere of operation it is possible for the
first time for Independent garages to provide nationwide guarantees. Please enquire.
''The UK's independent automotive aftermarket is an
essential tool in giving the country's motorists, private and corporate, a
genuine alternative to dealer servicing. Britain's motoring public get
quality, commitment, convenience and cost effective solutions from the independent
sector,'' Nick Best, President, IAAF. The IAAF is a new voice from an
established organisation in supporting the repair of motor vehicles by the independent,
non-franchised, sector of the UK repair industry.
